Register 35 on file

Plates. By satellite, then by time.

Every decoded frame in this register, grouped by source satellite. Most sections are fed by one configured chain here, and the header links to that instrument. The COMS-1 section is the exception: it is decoded from a public baseband recording, not received at this station, and is marked as such. Failed captures and unlocked passes are kept in the operational log, not here.

Elektro-L5 is in commissioning at 76°E. Broadcasts are sporadic, clustered around 08:00 UTC, and the 2026-05-17 attempt yielded no decoded frames. Images appear here once the satellite transmits reliably and the chain locks.

    COMS-1 · KMA cloud-type chart

Not a camera image but an operational product. Alongside the imagery, COMS-1's LRIT stream carried additional data, including this KMA cloud-type analysis valid 08:15 UTC on 12 May 2019. Cloud classes are colour coded 1 to 10 over the full disk. Pulled from the same public baseband recording as the infrared full disk.

    COMS-1 · IR1 full disk

A COMS-1 full disk in the 10.8 micron infrared window. Decoded from a public baseband recording of the satellite's 1692.14 MHz LRIT downlink, not received here. COMS-1 is the Korean predecessor of GEO-KOMPSAT-2A and used the same 128.2 East slot and the same encrypted xRIT format, so the same decode chain reads it. The infrared image is composited over Blue Marble with atmospheric haze by Sanchez, so cold cloud tops read as white against land and ocean. Captured 16 April 2019.
